Yes, the epilogue, Between Midnight And Day, has finally been posted here at FA and here at CoS!

After more than two years and about 280,000 words, it's actually finished.

*mops brow*

*opens champagne*

Huge, huge thanks to everyone who has reviewed the fic or indeed simply read it -- I know it's been an up-and-down sort of thing with long gaps between chapters sometimes, and two years on one story is a bit excessive! (I'll probably do a 'DVD commentary' and confess all -- or at least most -- at some point. :D) Special thanks as always to [livejournal.com profile] a_t_rain aka Lady deMimsy, for both her encouragement to start writing the story in the first place, and for her own stories which first made me realise that this fanfic stuff could actually be good as well as fun, and worth having a go at.

Congratulations for successfully finishing this story.
While I will be begging you for sequels from now on, I still admire everyone who is able to carry such a big project through and sum everything up in the end. Most of my really long fics are abandoned at some point...
Is that old lady with the strays been mentioned somewhere by JK Rowling...in an interview or something? There is a vague feeling I've heard that somewhere before. If it is not, then I have probably dreamed it...
Anyway, I liked the epilogue as well as every other chapter.

Congratulations! It's always a glorious moment, the completion of an epic! It was original, suitably twisty turny considering the writer and intriguing! Thanks for writing and I hope you continue to do so! :)

Congratulations - a great story. (But you know that.) And I'm really looking forward to the sequel.

Hunting down brightly coloured tropical birds - or at any rate, appearing to do so - takes Nymphadora Tonks to the Caribbean in her search for Siris Black, multiple murderer and the Dark Lord's right hand man. Here she rediscovers an old friendship - and makes a new enemy.

YOu can start now :)

Oh, that would have been fun! But possibly too much of a good thing - the story was quite complex enough already!

Wow... congrats! I know that you've really hard on the entire fic and I've been loving it evey step of the way! *goes off to read*

Hurrah! Well done!!! I am so, so impressed.
I will have to read it all from the beginning again, now, to pick up on all the things I missed...

Well done!

So I just finished your last few updates (am doing a Thanksgiving weekend catch up thing) and OMG! So great. I have to say the climax for me was the foiled killing curse bit (very good -- dramatic without too much angst, so your strength). I do love the ending, especially the symmetry between the introduction and the epilogue.

Your in the perfect position to, dare I suggest, write a sequal. Oh, you already teased us so I’ll just say YOU MUST. You left just the right amount of unanswered questions for it. Also, I think that there are some scenes I’d love to see through your perspective.

Any way. Well done and congrats! And, of course, sequel, sequel, sequel (just a suggestion).

It's nice to be around again. Work has been crazy... yuk, work. I miss unemployment. At least now I can afford the gym and shopping. Though I've had not time to do either until last weekend.

I totally support your decision to plan out your next Tonks story. I do hope you get a chance to write it. I don't know if it's just me getting pulled into real world, but I feel like there is less and less quality fanfic out there. I enjoyed NTLJ (especially as a whole) and will continue to gently prod for more. :)

*finally catches up on no intrawebs for Thanksgiving*

Congratulations! Wonderful all the way through!

And I'm going to add to the pleas for a sequel, pretty please.

And if you decide not to, I wouldn't turn my nose up at one shots. :)
