Date: 2007-11-29 09:59 pm (UTC)It doesn't say what algorithm it uses -- I'm presuming it runs it through one of the standard ones that take into account average word and post length, word choice etc. Then again, it's a bit ad hoc -- I saw a report of one which rated 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow' far harder to read than an essay on 'The Spiritual Value of Art'. :)
