Oh, 'My Immortal' by Evanescence.

And I completely stand by your defence. I happen to like Evanescence very much ('Before the Dawn' just finished on my happily shuffling iPod, interestingly enough), and enjoy pointing out that emo kiddies do occasionally like good music. That doesn't make them any less emo.

Yes -- something about the voice of the lead singer, I think. But then I'm afraid I like people like Abba and Alanis Morrisette and even Chas'n'Dave too, so I'm very sad. :D

Amy Lee does have a wonderful voice. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with having strange musical tastes. I have N'SYNC in my collection somewhere, sadly enough.
