Lyrics: The last one was the Cher classic Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves from 1971, spotted by
pennswoods and
superdork37. And here's another good one:
These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase
When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
And I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have
All of me (2000s)
(What? I DON'T CARE. It's a fine track from a fine album, whether emo kiddies like it or not.)

Date: 2007-05-03 06:25 pm (UTC)And I completely stand by your defence. I happen to like Evanescence very much ('Before the Dawn' just finished on my happily shuffling iPod, interestingly enough), and enjoy pointing out that emo kiddies do occasionally like good music. That doesn't make them any less emo.
