That fic archive journal ...

I've finally got around to setting up that fic archive journal I mentioned a while ago:

snorkfics

This now contains the current versions of all the oneshots I've written (totalling 25 at the moment), together with some "DVD commentary" style notes on each fic explaining the background to the story, what I was aiming for, noteworthy comments on the original version and so on. The main characters and genres have been added to the memories, and the stories have been tagged six ways from Sunday with everything I can think of. Feel free to browse or friend the fic journal if you're interested (that's what it's there for, after all :D).

I'll also be starting to post the chapters of Nymphadora Tonks and the Liquor of Jacmel "version 2.0" shortly, as they go through at Checkmated. So (hint hint!) if you haven't read it before and would like to, and prefer to read on LJ rather than Checkmated or FFN, the fic journal is the place to go. I aim to get it all posted before DH comes out.

Any meta posts I write on my fics will also go on this journal -- I have a lengthy commentary on the original version of NTLJ to finish -- as well as any new fics, either directly or after they've appeared elsewhere (the one currently in the pipeline is the springtime_gen story, although the reveal for that isn't until May).

I won't post new fics I write to this journal now (although most likely I'll publicise them!), so it'll just be the usual mix of general fandom commentary, music quizzes, the occasional RL post and so on.

Looks great! And it'll be wonderful for useless people like me to have links to all your fics one click from my own page so we can find and sample them when we get a minute ;).

Ohh, I will definitely go and friend that journal now! And I love the commentary you're giving--that sounds brilliant! I may steal that idea in the future, if that's all right with you. :)
