The Depths to Which Girls Will Sink by Cendrillon (a Parvati POV on the Lavender/Ron/Hermione triangle).

Lyrics: The last one was In Zaire, Johnny Wakelin's 1976 Top 5 UK hit about the 1974 Ali-Foreman 'Rumble in the Jungle'. Nobody spotted that, unfortunately. The trouble with quoting lines from that song is that practically all of them end with the title. :(

So while I'm doing relatively obscure ones, here's one I happened to have playing today -- a minor hit (the first single from an album that nevertheless got a Mercury Prize nomination and won the artist a Brit Award):

You walked into my house last night, I couldn't help but notice
A light that was long gone still burning strong
You were sitting, your fingers like fuses, your eyes were cinnamon
You said you stand for every known abuse
That was ever threatened to anyone but you
And why should I know better by now, when I'm old enough not to?
(1990s)
