Copied from lots of people:
Give me the title of one of my own fics and a timestamp -- either a future moment in time after the story's conclusion, or sometime in the past before the story started, and I'll tell you what happened. For example, you could choose a timestamp of five minutes before the story began, or a timestamp of ten years in the future.
Story list is here. Yep, missing moments within stories are fine too.

Date: 2007-01-24 05:51 pm (UTC)Anyway, as it happens remember Remus already suspects who she is -- or rather Sirius does and told Remus about it and got him to check whether there really was a "Julia Marshall". So I was intending to have a semi-accidental meeting sometime early in the New Year after she's talked to Dumbledore (and he's talked to Remus) where the tables are turned somewhat -- he suspects who she pretended to be and is subtly trying to confirm it, and she's the one trying not to give herself away by admitting it because she doesn't really trust him. Then (and this would be very subject to change) finally after Voldy's return Arthur would see her fulminating about the situation, invite her to a private meeting with him and Molly to discuss it, at which she would be surprised to meet both Remus Lupin and a familiar-looking big black dog. She'd initially be furious at the way she'd been kept in the dark, but after joining up with the Order they'd talk about it and be able to laugh about it ...

Date: 2007-01-24 08:31 pm (UTC)it's, as you probably guessed, about NTLJ as well. And hoping this is not too...far away from the story, but after the fight in the DoM at the end of OotP, how do her colleagues (your other characters in the NTLJ universe) react to what happens?

Date: 2007-01-26 10:19 pm (UTC)OK, here's a off-the-top-of-my-head answer -- Tonks still wouldn't be bale to tell them everything that went on, but the main Aurors that she worked with in NTLJ would have fairly different reactions:
Cassius would probably only hear the outline details, being out of the country, and would not be too surprised that Tonks had joined the Order. As a veteran of the first war he'd have qualified approval of her for doing this, agreeing that it was a good thing but not being sure that taking anti-Ministry action was wise. He'd probably be happier with it if he knew more of the facts.
Rhiannon would have been worried that the serial killer might have had some kind of Death Eater connection given the modus operandi (she'd be right) but would assume that funny events during the GoF year were down to former Death Eaters acting on their own initiative, as with the World Cup. She'd have been somewhat suspicious of what Tonks might be up to during OotP, thinking that she might be concealing Sirius (especially after the Azkaban breakout), would begin to suspect that the Ministry line was all wrong when she saw the Quibbler article and heard more details from cousin Roger, and would be staggered but impressed when she found out what had happened in the DoM.
Donnacha would be somewhat more sceptical of the idea of Voldemort's return in the first place, wouldn't have believed a word of it when Tonks broached the subject tentatively, and definitely wouldn't have been inclined to go on what he thought of as a wild-goose chase. He'd have been less inclined to believe Harry's story, although alarmed by the possibility, and would have been rather disgruntled to find out what Tonks had been doing, although reluctantly conceding that she'd been right.
Cornworthy would be inclined to keep his head down and just get on with the job throughout. He'd have his suspicions that there might be more to it than the official line, but leave it at that, and would be less concerned by what Tonks had done than about the new war situation.
Williamson would have thought the whole thing was nonsense too, rather like Donnacha, but would have been extremely impressed when he found out that two colleagues had been part of a secret organisation run by Dumbledore.
