Being a year since the last time I did this ... a bigger output than I thought, actually.

The following stories were posted this year:

Nymphadora Tonks and the Liquor of Jacmel (PG-13, finally completed!)

The Hunter (G, 870 words) Luna Lovegood goes in search of Crumple-Horned Snorkacks
Unmarked (PG-13, 3200 words) Lucius Malfoy has many marks. Marcus Flint, as yet, has not. Lucius finds that appealing [only part 1 of 2 done]
The Wolf Covers Its Tracks (PG-13, 5300 words) When Remus follows Greyback's trail to the Canadian wilderness, their confrontation reopens many old wounds
Honour Amongst Thieves (PG-13, 4250 words) Mundungus Fletcher provides expert advice on breaking into a Muggle high-security area -- the Tower of London
You Tell Her (PG, 8400 words) Hermione has an uneasy feeling there's something important Harry and Ron aren't telling her. As it happens, she's absolutely right
Indistinguishable (G, 1750 words) Successful young entrepreneurs Fred and George Weasley are interviewed by the Sunday Times Magazine
Introduction to The Invisible Book of Invisibility (G, 1000 words) Albus Dumbledore's introduction to the aforementioned book
Twenty Sibling Drabbles (PG-13, 2000 words) Twenty unrelated drabbles about people related by their parentage
Dangerous Driving (PG-13, 11400 words) Knight Bus driver Ernie Prang is 'invited' to become an informer for the Ministry at the beginning of the second war
Change For Me (PG-13, 2100 words) Remus has an unusual request for Tonks regarding his old love
Blood Lines (PG, 2200 words) Speech by Griselda Marchbanks to the Ministerial Conference, March 2000
Preventive Medicine (R, 1300 words) Two students visit Madam Pomfrey with an embarrassing problem
Battles with Basilisks (PG-13, 6000 words) AU: Everything Gilderoy Lockhart writes about himself is actually true
That's What Friends Are For (PG, 2200 words) Cho runs into an old friend and comes to an understanding.

Onto the second part:

Favourite story this year: Probably Indistinguishable, which was just a nice fun premise that didn't struggle too much in the execution.

Best story this year: I'll go for Indistinguishable again, with The Wolf Covers Its Tracks as runner-up. NTLJ has its good and bad points, but given how long it is obviously had time to accumulate more of both!

Most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion: A toss-up between Honour Amongst Thieves and Dangerous Driving -- probably the former, which drew surprisingly little interest most places for what I thought was a reasonably eye-catching premise. The latter was political and focused on some very obscure CCs and OCs, so it probably deserved anything it didn't get. :)

Most fun story: As far as writing went? Probably Twenty Sibling Drabbles, if that counts as a "story" -- I'd never really tried doing drabbles before, and it turned out to be rather enjoyable to just pick a single idea and write a few sentences on it. Otherwise, Indistinguishable.

Sexiest story: Um, from me that's not very sexy at all, really. Preventive Medicine was the only R rating, but given the subject matter "sexy" doesn't quite seem an appropriate description. :) I hesitate to mention Unmarked, because it might better be titled Unfinished (I keep plugging away at it, it's nearly done now, honest), so let's say You Tell Her, in which Ron and Hermione do at least get some serious snogging in, even if that's as far as they get before the end of the fic.

"Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story: Probably Preventive Medicine. :) Although The Wolf Covers Its Tracks had a strange ending.

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: Oddly enough, You Tell Her kind of crystallised a Luna characterisation for me, even though she only has a minor part.

Hardest story to do: Sadly, probably NTLJ -- eventually, I just gritted my teeth, got my finger out, stopped panicking, and actually got down to writing the last few chapters.

Biggest disappointment: What, apart from the incredible amount of time it took to get anywhere with NTLJ -- again? Probably You Tell Her -- there's something about it that just feels clunky, but that I can't quite put my finger on.

Biggest surprise: Introduction to The Invisible Book of Invisibility -- I thought this was basically just a throwaway joke, but possibly for that very reason it got the biggest response.

Most telling story: Never quite sure what this means. Possibly Dangerous Driving and/or Blood Lines, both of which at least one reviewer noted contained the occasional Real World Parallel.

A story I want remembered: Well, NTLJ obviously. Otherwise, I'd be happy if almost any of them were remembered (apart from one or two light throwaways).
