Chapter 38, Let's Face The Music And Dance posted to Chamber of Secrets. Finally, the Halloween Ball scene! In which Tonks does actually dance, and meets two characters she is later to get to know well for the first time.

(Also contains some more of my attempts to write romance scenes. Sorry and all that, had to do it, needed for the storyline. Run while you still can.)

Yay! I love it when I get to read a new chapter of this. (2 fics of yours in a day? YAY! - I need to go review DD.) It was a great chapter! I just knew that Arthur had to make an appearance once Mrs. Hallendale showed up. (I have a sneaking suspicion that you have planted things in here that I'm going to palmface about not seeing once they become important.)

And your romance scenes... the characters are not terribly articulate, the situation is a bit awkward and most importantly all very realistic. Brilliant!

And thanks for the kind words about the romance scenes -- I'm afraid I personally tend to be sentimental rather than romantic, which means I enjoy reading shipfics and scenes but always cringe when I try to write them.
