Thanks. (Quick question: that Ernie Prang fic is all but finished -- I need to tart up the ending, but am on the last pass through -- are you still OK with the idea of betaing it? The trouble is, it ended up at about 11,000 words rather than 6,000 -- which is a bit excessive.)
There is a fairly specific author's warning at the top, but I didn't read it either. :) I wasn't sure how much I could actually say in the Niffle without giving it away, so decided to give people a chance to be surprised ...
Yes, I saw it when the damage was already done! I don't tend to read author's warnings - usually I prefer to find things out from reading the fic. Got burned that time though! It really was very well done, so I'm not complaining. Just, you know, shivery...
