Like most of these 'character assessment' things, they have a large grab-bag of characteristics so they're almost bound to get a few hits whatever they come up with. Maybe it's just that I'm really not that much of a Sirius fan. :) (Not a basher of the character, but he's never really struck a chord with me.)

I also looked at all possible answers and there seem to be a lot of types, but I still get Snape even if I switch the questions that depends on situation. *grumbles*

I got Olympe Maxime, which is a big WTF for me! So, yeah, I don't think you ought to take that very seriously, it's a weird quiz anyway, I'd have answered totally differently if I was in a different mood. As it was, I got a ESFJ.

That's why I hate those Myers-Briggs things -- there's never an option for "both" or "neither" or "it depends" or "first, it will be necessary to deconstruct the unstated assumptions in the question." (Besides, I like to think that people are too complicated to be pigeonholed into only sixteen categories, although this may be foolish optimism speaking.)

Deconstruct? Now there's a dirty word. :) (Although I agree with you, this is exactly the sort of thing where deconstruction is needed.)

I suppose 16 is better than 2 ([in|ex]travert), but while adding more pairs is good, it doesn't help if they're not clearly defined ... I suppose it's one of those things that are good as a rough heuristic, but really shouldn't be used as a substitute for individual assessment and common sense.
