Um, hi everybody. I have a couple of challenge fics I'm keen to get out of the way so that I can return to the half-finished next chapter of NTLJ, the WIP-of-Doom. (Memo to self: do NOT try to take on writing several stories at once. IT DOES NOT WORK.) Hence this plea for someone to give them the once-over and tell me what needs fixing!

#1: As yet untitled (possibly The Wolf Covers Its Tracks?) -- the omniocular "Anywhere But Here" challenge fic. Deadline 28th February, should be ready early next week, probably 4000+ words.

Summary: Ten years after the end of the war, everyone thinks Fenrir Greyback is dead -- everyone except Remus Lupin. When Remus follows his maker's trail to the Canadian wilderness, he is forced to reopen many old wounds. (Gen.)

#2: Unmarked -- the FAP OTP Lucius/Flint challenge fic. Deadline was 14th February -- I posted the first half on the forum, but there's a second half, about two-thirds done (overwriting again, ahem) in which Voldemort is back, things go to hell in a handbasket, and the story reaches the planned conclusion. No particular deadline now, probably 6000+ words.

Summary: Lucius Malfoy has many marks. Marcus Flint, as yet, has not. Lucius finds that appealing. Six years of their relationship and of Lucius' plans. (Slash/Gen.)

Thanks! -- you'd probably have a day or two, actually. I've only got a couple of scenes to go, but then I do need to go through the whole thing and try to improve some appallingly clunky writing. Warning -- it turned into a bit of an angstathon, although I'll try to give it a slightly hopeful ending. Word doc OK?

Thanks also for the VTM note -- when I can get back to the other fic, I'll post it. (Another story that was meant to be a rather silly short piece, and then turned into a semi-serious 8000 words.)
