A result, sort of ...

My turn on the rota to set the pub quiz again last night (tracklist below cut if of any interest) ... microphone almost completely not working, but fortunately I'd observed this happening the week before and set a quiz that was entirely based on a music tape. Sound quality still bloody awful, but that proved to be a good thing in the end because the landlord has FINALLY got embarrassed enough to get it replaced. So at least that was a result!
