Aug. 30th, 2009 04:05 pm<spam> is not a valid HTML tag. No really, it isn't. The one you presumably meant is <span>.
Yes, this matters, because when you merrily add the attribute style="font-size: smaller;" to your non-existent <spam> tag, slap it on the front of your "(This entry has X comments at Dreamwidth.)" footnote to cross-posted entries on Livejournal, and then forget to close the damn thing like you're supposed to, it looks like a block element that hasn't been closed yet, and every such post makes subsequent entries on my flist smaller. It only takes a couple of them to make what follows too damn small.
Why yes, I could change to a different browser. Or you could change your code to, you know, work properly.
