Hourglass Awards
Aug. 20th, 2009 11:59 pmBelatedly posting this self-plug, but A Law of the Medes and Persians (Harry POV immediately-post-war legal drama novella) took the bronze in the 'Best Drama Fic' category of the 2009 Hourglass Awards. Since the first and second places were an interestingly-constructed who's-it-about fic with a surprising answer and a
fernwithy epic, I'll take that! Of the other two nominations, Where My Thought's Escaping (Cho in DH, same category) and Preventive Medicine (a delicate problem for Madam Pomfrey, 'Comedy/Parody' category) finished respectably mid-table.
Also, congrats to
magnetic_pole for her win and
lyras,
pennswoods,
ladybracknell, and
lls_mutant for their places or Admin's Choices.
Also, congrats to

Date: 2009-08-21 04:40 am (UTC)Well, what I meant to say before I read that last paragraph was this: I won't be able to read a novella for a while, but I'm curious about A Law of the Medes and Persians. Shall bookmark these! Congrats! M.
