hermionebigbang (see what I mean about unfortunate naming?), which basically means fics of at least 20K words with Hermione in a major role, due September. Since I have a couple of plot bunnies that might fit those criteria, and since you get a chance to back out at a second sign-up stage in July if things don't pan out (an excellent idea that, I thought), I've put my name down for this one.
Those among you who hail from the Checkmated region of HP fandom, or favour canon-compliancy in shipping or indeed in general, might like to note that signups so far tend towards the Hermione/anyone-but-Ron approach(*) -- Hermione/Snape and Hermione/Draco seem particularly popular choices -- so if you have a possible longer story in mind you may care to redress the balance here!
(*) OK, I should confess that one of my two possibles was actually a Harry/Hermione AU in which Ron and Ginny were casualties of the Battle of Hogwarts -- but more to see if it actually could be done convincingly, and it's definitely second choice. :D)
