The nominations list for the 2008 rhr_awards has just been posted, and well, it so happens that this one of mine is among the nominees in the "Outstanding One-Shot" category!

In The Bleak Midwinter
Summary: Hermione Granger had grown to dread the winter. The season seemed almost to have a grudge against her. And so as she and Ron flew from summer in Britain to winter in Australia to search for her parents, she had both old and new issues to resolve.

Many thanks to whoever nominated the fic!

Now I know some of you would rather tattoo the Dark Mark onto your own forearm with a rusty paperclip than read a Ron/Hermione fic, so I'll simply say this: if you should happen to find yourself in the vicinity of the voting post at any point, please take whatever action seems to you the most appropriate. :)
