Chapter 42, The Things We Do For Love, now posted at CoS Forums. The last actual chapter, although there will be a short epilogue in a few days time.

Lyrics: The song yesterday was Cell Block Tango from the musical Chicago, originally peformed in 1975, spotted by [livejournal.com profile] octobersnow, [livejournal.com profile] lareinenoire, and [livejournal.com profile] jesspallas. So here's one that's rather appropriate for Halloween:

She had an horror of rooms she was tired you can't hide beat
When I looked in her eyes they were blue but nobody home
She could've been a killer if she didn't walk the way she do, and she do
She opened strange doors that we'd never close again
She began to wail jealousies scream
Waiting at the light know what I mean
(1980s)

It's over.:( Well, at least I have the epilogue and V2.0 to look forward to. The joke had me laughing so hard I started to tear up.
I actually expected Angelica to be in it a little deeper than you had her, but I guess she was in deep enough to get her in some major trouble. And I certainly didn't guess the 'Hank was her magical tutor' bit.

*gives standing ovation*

A few things I caught for editing (minor, as usual):
demonstrated such prowess at over the last previous week and a half 'last previous' is redundant.

"Pretty solid Auror work, young lady, he said eventually. Missing a close quote mark.

Bowie. Not a clue what it's called because the bit I've got rolling around in my head doesn't let me get to the refrain, but Bowie.

Ooh, is this really the last chapter?
Well, then I'll just hope for that sequel-idea you mentionned in the author's notes on CoS after the epilogue :D
I'd LOVE to read more, and I really adore your writing.
Also, I have to say that this is the funnies rendering of The Joke I have read yet...*lol*

If not the final curtain (sigh).

I'm really going to miss this story. I've enjoyed it immensely. Didn't gues the Angelica the witch bit - I thought the obliviator was Montgomery Polyjuiced, which would make her an accessory anyway. Your way of doing it was much, much better.

Sequel, please, please!!!
