Fic: Where My Thought's Escaping
May. 26th, 2009 09:17 pmThis was the
springtime_gen piece, now reposted on my fic journal with a few tweaks to cover possible small plot holes, and with a thousand words of 'DVD commentary' at the end:
Title: Where My Thought's Escaping
Rating: PG-13
Length: Total 20,000 words approx
Characters: Cho Chang, her family, Michael Corner, Marietta Edgecombe, Su Li, assorted OCs and canon cameos
Pairings: Some Cho/Michael
Summary: Cho had enjoyed her visits to Guangzhou. She wasn't at all sure she wanted to live there. But when her parents moved their family away because of the war, she found herself trying to build a new life in China -- and struggling to reconcile it with her unfinished business in Britain.
(I thought my usual verbose style was going to be a giveaway, so I was interested to see the guesses people made as to who wrote it --
lyras,
virginia_bell, and, um,
fpb. Still, controversial and argumentative as he is, he can actually write.)
Thanks to whoever nominated it for an Hourglass award, btw.
