Return of the Nifflers
Mar. 30th, 2009 08:55 pmThose of you who frequent(ed) FictionAlley may remember the FicNiffler programme which recced HP stories from around the web, but which fell into abeyance shortly before DH (one not-summer-making-swallow last year excepted). As a member of the last team of Nifflers, I did mean to post some more recs to try to kick-start it again, but somehow kept never getting around to it.
However, I stopped by there the other day, and lo and behold, it's been restarted with some new Nifflers and a new mod (SwissMiss)! There doesn't seem to have been much fanfare (the first new Niffle was 10th February), but there are eight new recsfrom two new Nifflers up, so FA alumni may like to take a look, for old times' sake if nothing else.
Also, to my pleased surprise among the eight was a Niffle of one of my older pre-DH fics, The Wolf Covers Its Tracks (the one that has Lupin hunting Greyback in the Canadian wilderness post-war). A nice counter to writing-related gloom!
