NTLJ chapter 24 at FictionAlley

Chapter 24, Scene of Crime Investigation, has been posted at FictionAlley. In which Tonks remembers her training and blames herself for letting the murderer have a chance to commit the crime, and a specialist explains smugly how it was committed. Tonks and Cassius manage to resist actually hitting him, and find a surprise witness.

Also includes lots of notes on how I'm contending that it's still canon-compliant through interpretation and reinterpretation. :)
